Advance through the ages

In Arkedya, you start from scratch and gradually rediscover rarity and a wide range of technologies. This is materialized by an age system. But how does it work?

There is a research called "High Technology" which allows you to advance an age every three levels. What is the point of this? For one thing, the decorative textures on the interface change. That is significant, but it does not stop there, because, on the other hand, it also allows you to acquire new technologies, with High Technology being a prerequisite. These researches are gradually opening up all the possibilities in terms of infrastructures, units and defences, and thus increasing both defensive and offensive potential.
